I don't know anything about Kurdistan, but I'm assuming the purpose of this is to create a narrative that ensures communism and anarchism will never be associated by westerners with the Kurdish struggle?

          1. You've just lathe of heavened this into the third-worldist vocabulary, and Angry Gonzalo Twitter is now at least 60% more funny.

          2. I'm not sure if that kind of joke is allowed, so to balance it out I'm going to make the obvious sectarian-in-the-other direction version: tankkkies.

          3. Do you think we could trick tankiejerk into starting to call us tankkkies?

Kurdistan is the US propped Iraqi non-Socialist Kurdish Polity run by the corrupt gangster family (though the minority PUK party has its moments though it too is family dominated.)

Rojava (more formally the Autonomous Administration of Northern Syria) is the more based version, that the US threw under the bus.

Bet you they deliberately conflate the two

Forcing my friends to watch a Hillary Clinton tv show so I can point and whisper, "That's Coin Dexter" whenever his character is on screen

The Kurds only matter for the US when it is politically convenient.
