felt like it was lacking a main plot, or that it had like an hour cut from the film. Lots of callbacks to the series felt like pretty forced fan service. Other than Silvio casting was almost perfect and the woman who played Livia was great. Putting in MAJOR Sopranos series spoilers in the first 20 seconds of the movie seems like a questionable thing to do in a prequel movie. Probably would have worked a lot better as a mini series. Over all 5/10

That's not good.
It would have been better served with a limited run, like with what Dexter is going to do. There was just too much in that movie that it felt so disjointed. If it was like a short 10 episode series, you can really build the characters and stories. As it was, I still feel like I have no idea what was Dickie Moltisanti's motivation or why he was a big deal allegedly.
