This is only middle managers, but I witnessed this a few years ago and it's fucking incredible.
You'll never see someone look more miserable in their entire life. Welcome to the average persons entire fucking life!
They'll be fucking miserable doing this work then turn around the moment they get some normal workers for them to stop being a worker to tell them to be grateful for having this job
The misery is just because they can't hide it on their face. They know it's temporary and will learn nothing lmfao.
I just wanted to spam sicko emojis and behave irreverently
Me every day :sicko-wholesome:
the r/antiwork post on this is at or near the top of the sub, the comments were good
A day or two ago my phone refused to load antiwork for a minute and I just figured oh its been banned of course.
I haven't looked in a while. Isn't it full of western chauvinists who really just don't want to work but don't think so much about if others in the global south have to?
IDK, the whole idea of an "anti-work" movement strikes me as inherently ridiculous. The way we work now is clearly bad, but anyone with the barest understanding of labor theory of value should know that work is necessary.
I think there's a valid argument that American radicalization needs to happen in alliance with the lumpenprole, but yeah an "antiwork" movement isn't it.
my friends really like canes. i think its pretty below average even for fast food meat chain. so haha owned i guess
Its very shitty in every way. Even though their shtick is chicken, its not good quality chicken, its not fried or breaded in anything special, but boy is it expensive. I do not understand their popularity or reputation.
Learning how to fry food myself has been really redeeming. Canes is trash compared to homemade tenders.
Lmao they charge you $9 for In n out. It's half that in California, get gud scrub.
The chicken is very meh, but the sauce is pretty good. Of course, it's unbelievably easily replicated it home. It's basically just ketchup, mayo, and garlic.
Pretty much. It's always some combination of ketchup, mayo, mustard, and/or barbecue sauce, with like 1 or 2 extra common household spices thrown in, like dill or oregano or paprika.
So if I eat more Raisin Canes then more corporate executives will have to work a grill?
