so based on long experience it's clear that the ozy facade was some kind of media-front-for-hire, picked up and put down by whatever entities or campaigns needed it at a moment. Shit, it was probably created for that purpose with a central casting CEO that just got delusions of grandeur.
An entire media hall of mirrors, like the internet, funded by endless invisible play money that's always available for shit like this .
https://eugenesrobinson.substack.com/p/ozy-rules-the-house-negro-gets-it ..........the man was working there from the start. He's talking like he feels like he got a raw deal from the media industry so maybe there's other shoes to drop. The NYT commissioned a story from him so maybe some gumshoes are going to investigate ozy's connections.

Couldn't believe it when the crossover happened between an obscure mma pod I've been listening to forever and chapo in the ozy episode last week.
also if people don't know this the singer from oxbow, one of the greatest bands of all time.

weird weird fella and its mad that he's involved in this.
oh it says that in the first paragraph of the thing, lol
I only paid attention to his music backstory after already listening to his mma pod for a few years. He worked at Ozy for years and intersected with chapo a couple of years ago with the Ozyfest episode. Then intersected with chapo again when he became a figure in the recent Ozy fraud story. He recently became a father again at 59. From whatever you can learn from listening to a person's podcast persona, and the industry people they associate with, he's good. I mean, his, pod is basically the trueanon of mma podcasts tbh.
I remember seeing posters for the Carlos Watson show and kept thinking “who the fuck does this guy think he is?”
