Chapochat is hexbear. c/chapotraphouse is main. main is closed. c/hexbear is about developing hexbear, nothing else. main is closed. c/feedback is for feedback about the site, unless it pertains to something that would go in c/userunion, which is for complaining and voooting on what the site is except when it was named hexbear instead of chapochat. main is closed. discussion of the podcast goes in c/podcasts or in c/chapotraphouse. c/askchapo is for asking questions, but not about the site, that goes in c/feedback. also, main is closed
The subreddit was not as good as this site. It had way more libs, and your posts and comments would easily get buried and no one would interact with them. I'm not nearly online enough to comment on posts within the first hour, or even 2 hours. So most of what I posted on the sub was typing into the void. Here, though, you can really tell that people appreciate each other, even (or especially?) when we argue.
We're better when we don't put everything under one roof to compete for the same generalized attention. c/main, stay ded.
The more libs was actually kind of good in some ways.
Who am I going to demand to 'post hog' now?
Check my post about seattle cops quitting
But muh basic human right to not spread a deadly disease then die choking on my own saliva
:covid-cool:
We still get reactionaries that wander in..
But ya gotta be on the ball before they get banned, you know, post hog ergo propter hog.
You can tell me to post hog.
It gets sooooo old. Same lib takes and half assed 'gotcha' points we've all heard a million times and the same dunks we have in the chamber forever as a response.
The site has indeed overtaken the subreddit in greatness and in humor, I think it happened a couple months ago.
MF's forget that russiagate was once an upvoted opinion on the old sub, some folks may not believe that, but I was there in the first week of July 2018 I saw the upvotes with my own commie eyes
No matter what happens hexbear will never get that cringe
spoiler
old sub was still cool tho, but this place is more evolved and developed
Tbf, early on it was rumors and it wasn't clear exactly what happened
I mean it's 100% true that the mob (possibly Russian?) has leverage over Trump, and that he was Putin's preference, and that Russia did what Russia could be expected to do. But not like a full-blown 10-million-person operation.
