We could not handle the deluge of liberalism that would come pouring down on our heads. Worse, some wreckers could really get going if they had a flood to hide in. Mods would be busy, something that's wrong but looks right if you don't read it enough (like some hidden uncritical race theory or gender hysteria) could worm its way in while mods are getting rid of anti-tankie posters and "how can you support see see pee" like doomguy. We can try to pull some in, maybe through scouting them out and seeing who they try to bring with, but we can't just absorb even an eight of their population.
