Jesus, really? Why does AbeBooks even still exist at all then? Just to suck up suckers (like me) who occasionally remembers it exists and thinks they may be slightly less evil?
Do you want more freedoms or do you want cuminlingus where you have no freedomz and there is only one trademark ?
Amazon related, I mistakenly bought a Kindle a long time ago, and now I'm relatively stuck with it, since it works fine, but I'd rather get out of Amazon's grasp.
Don't get me wrong, I don't use their platform and get books via other means whenever I can, buying them from better stores or appropriating them, but I'd love to not give data to their servers.
