Is Robin Hobb good?
Very. My favorite living fantasy writer
which titles should I read first?
Farseer Chronicles. It's a lot of books, but it's absolutely worth it and I felt that sweet sadness when I finished the last one. She puts so much effort into her characters and though she does make them suffer, as someone else mentioned, it's all worth it at the end. I never had the feeling that any of it was done just for the sake of shock or outrage.
Hey! I had already downloaded the first book
She's very good but she also loves putting her protagonists through hell. So it's a recommendation, but you should enjoy suffering.
