Likely, more people are going to learn about this piece as the result of the troll than at any point in the last ten years. Especially in the wake of COVID, art like this carries real power.

I consider it a net good, in so far as it is both raising the profile of a compelling message and illustrating the fumbling pointless mess that is modern AI art.

Extra bonus points because the top left corner has what is very obviously abstract representations of people in various states of celebration or play. The AI remainder has none of that. Stripping the life out of a piece of artwork in every sense.

The vandalization and restoration of Who's afraid of Red, Yellow, and Blue resulted in a clear area where they couldn’t match the pigment. So it’s kind of fitting, but in the opposite way where the faulty restoration is now the thing being reacted to.
