Not OP but wanted to help.
That's about the condition my 94 impreza was in when I bought it. Kept it going for a while but my dad is a mechanic and I'm handy. If the sound while turning is a clunky rattle it could be a cv joint.

I'd say sell because someone can probably still fix and use it if the engine is good.
