Just like in modern day MMOs, the "Vanilla Mario" will have a stat of X while "Hyper Mario" Has X + 1 and "Giga Mario" has X + 50 and "Ultra-Delux Mario Shine" has X + 10000. You need to keep grinding to get access to the next Mario. Original Mario will be worthless as soon as the next Season Pass drops.
