Just heard two straight guys say "Love you buddy"

Kinda stuck me cause I almost never hear men talk that way. In 30 years I don't think I've told my best friend I love him more then twice. Hell I even have anxiety using heart emojis. It's honestly really encouraging to hear men talk this way, maybe some day I'll be able to be one of them.

I'm 33 and I tell my best friend I love him from time to time. He's one of the only people I feel like I can say that to, "man to man" or whatever. My other friends that are men just kind of brush it off when I tell them stuff like that.

- Don't reinforce the idea the fulfillment requires masculinity.
- This also includes tendency struggle-sessions.
No lifestyle content.
- Post the picture of your new grill in !food (feminine people like grills too smh my head).
- Post the picture of the fish you caught in !sports (feminine people like fish too smdh my damn head).
- At best, stuff like this is off-topic. At worst, it's reinforcing genders norms..
- If you're not trying to be seen as masculine for your lifestyle content, it's irrelevant to this comm. If you are trying to be seen as masculine, let's have a discussion about why these things are seen as masculine.
