You can’t have pro-working class parties in the US, there will always only be two viable parties until the electoral system is changed.
Labour party was a third party in a first past the post system, until it wasn't. The 2 dominant parties were liberal and conservative. The Labour party only came to prominence shortly before WWII. Just recently, UKIP/Brexit party were threatening enough of the vote share and seats to make them just as if not more significant than the Lib Dems, another 3rd party.
