The first 4 points (not in the screenshot, in the full thread) aren't horrible, depending on what calls of ableism they have in mind, but it's just way down hill from there.

Their bio:

Brunch lib. Basically a KHive/Bonds Dog amalgam. I stand with 🇺🇸🇮🇱🇺🇦🇬🇾🇹🇼🇦🇲

Just the worst collection of flags, except 🇬🇾 and 🇦🇲, but I'm guessing 🇬🇾 is just to follow the State Department line on their territorial dispute with Venezuela.

I so want this to be a parody, but they have a lot of threads about how horrible various 91° media pundits actually love Trump.

(Not that all their targets are undeserving, ♫Michael Tracey Crypto-Fascist♫ is definitely not.)

    • Gonna go ahead and assume they believe Russia and China are doing a genocide
    • “Considering Palestinians to be human beings is bigotry against Jews, sweetie”
    • This is either taking criticisms about poverty tourism to a farcical level, or they’re doing the “I saw a Twitter account with a hundred followers post it so it must be the position of all leftists” bit
    • The hell is “white adjacent men”? If a black guy is standing next to a white guy, is he white adjacent?

I want these people to explain, in specific detail , how zionism is somehow tge same thing as Judaism in any of the meanings of the term. Also they need to explain, in detail, how zionism, as it has taken real form in the modern context, isn't insanely antisemitic itself.

Ah, the standard right wing "redefine your serious crimes into such vague and meaningless nonsense that you can call anyone ridiculous for trying to hold you accountable for them."

I'm sorry to say this, but if you're a white cishet dude and complain about "white cis gays", you should probably leave that discussion to queer people and PoC, we're the ones actually affected by assimilationist gay men trying to pull up the ladder behind them and you do not have the nuance and knowledge to engage in already messy debates within queer communities. This isn't the best place to show your solidarity, there are enough queerphobic straights to spend your time on. You can and should ofc debunk obvious transphobia and racism spouted by such people, but do not go after them being gay if you're straight. Even if you aren't motivated by homophobia, all you're doing is to buy into the reactionary PR strategy to make cis gay men and cis ex-feminist women the most visible mouthpieces for transphobia when in fact gay, lesbian and feminist people are vastly underrepresented amongst transphobes. They're ofc still an issue, but they are an issue that should largely be dealth with by such communities internally. It's extremely counterproductive if you amplify such voices by prioritizing engagement with them.

And yes, this is very likely to take the exact same trajectory "Karen" had. That term went from an airing of a very legitimate, acute grievance PoC had with white women utilizing their relative privilege and wielding systemic racism against black workers to "haha i can be a mysogynist on reddit and still sound woke". Honestly, i think that apart from the weird wording about "white adjacent" people that sounds like critique of colorism gone haywire, this isn't a particularly unhinged point to make and it would probably have been better not to include that part.

Also this belongs in the dunk tank.

Maybe, but they didn't say specifically white cishet dudes.

Oops. No idea why I put /c/memes.

I wonder how many of these "I stand with Guyana" libs didn't even know the country existed before the media told them about big bad Venezuela attacking them.

I think a similar situation happened with Ukraine as well tbh. 6 months after this war is over, I doubt these libs could even point to it on a map.
