One of the hosts of subliminal jihad has family intel and banking ties and more. Just fucking lol.

They're on the TA sub wondering why people would invade their privacy in this terrible way. wow.

We need something like a warrant canary for journalists and podcasters. If you want to be a public figure and speak to us, given the history of media capture, we need full disclosure of familial connections + any and all personal contact with public or private intel entities.

A class traitor that keeps shit secret while calling out others for less sus shit?

People who don't talk about their privilege, how it came about, why it's unjust, and the reasons for their political journey? People who want to be public figures in the media but not talk about those things, can they be called class traitors? I don't think so tbh.

genuine questions btw, hope it's not coming across too wild. There are so many of these pods that might be pretty influential. Getting information from people who just appear in the media landscape, with no history, no journey, no bona fides, is not a good thing.

oh yeah if he's roasting people for less sus shit that's straight hypocrisy. I could be swayed on at what point exactly a podcaster is obligated to reveal their background, but if they're swinging at other people in that way, it should be day one.

yeah, this is this point. Not just podcasters imo.

Some work is so important to the public good, like media or politicians or police, that people who want to do that work should not expect to have normal privacy imo. These professions have betrayed the polity so many times that they shouldn't have the ability to hide anything from the public. e2a There are just too many opportunities for corruption in these professions for presumption of innocence.

I mean, if leftist media figures aren't volunteering any and all personal info, given the history of media capture on the left, it's already sus.
