Villum Christensen, the idiot vice mayor who tries to make a cold and windswept Danish beach look like a Spanish tourist trap, comes from the tiny unhinged right-libertarian LA party.
In 2018 he was in parliament and said that climate change "has more in common with religion and faith when with science". This statement was so idiotic that even the Rand-bros in the party leadership were embarrassed by it and had to rein him in publicly.
In local politics he became known for making a legally nonsensical and unenforceable agreement to support a succdem mayor for half a term and then get the post himself for the rest of the term. The agreement were never realised and the succdem mayor sat the full term.
He was also involved in a major corruption scandal where he helped a personal friend and fellow party member defraud the Slagelse municipality of ridiculous consultancy fees for amateurish work concerning a botched "green growth" project involving hydrogen-powered busses and a "green energy park", none of which were ever realised.
I have no problems imagining the company doing the Sisyphus work on the beach being connected to Christensen, I would be more surprised if it wasn't the case.
