I went on a tour of the NASA complex in Houston and in our group it was just me, my sibling, and this family of 7 all wearing Mensa shirts over their regular shirts that said shit like ‘I believe in science’ on it. The entire tour these fucking dweebs kept pestering the guide with asinine questions about Elon Musk and Bezos while the guide was trying to talk about the Gemini program or whatever. The mom also was constantly in a power stance the whole time as she herded her family and tried to explain things after the guide was out of earshot, leading to the tour thing taking longer as we had to wait on these people.

I did feel bad because there was one son who very clearly wasn’t a loser as he took off his Mensa shirt like halfway through the tour, and the mom picked on him a lot when he was pretty apparently uninterested in all of it.

      “more sociopathic, like Sherlock!”

Friendly reminder that the first episode of Sherlock involved the Detective Genius nearly doming himself to prove a point to a psychopath.
