There are countless sources that say the exact opposite of what these dorks are projecting. IMF has enforced such austerity conditions not just in the global south but in Europe as well that even Greece found a much more reasonable lending partner in the Chinese government than in the IMF or Deutchebank when their economy collapsed. Its not just BRI that western financial powers are worried about - hence, the enormously astroturfed consent manufacturing sites like reddit, and panicked western government attempts to ramp up war efforts with China.
