Oh man, I'm not even comfortably familiar with eu4. The combat is much more complex (moving individual divisions rather than thousands of troops at a time) while the economy is much simpler (no trade). The modding scene is much more interesting than EU though, with everything from alt histories to cold wars to Fallout and My Little Pony being put into the engine with incredible quality
By comfortably familiar I mean "I still have no fucking clue what I'm doing but can enjoy a full 400 year game".
But yeah sounds awesome I'll check it out. I'm honestly not a fan of too much management of armies, but if it's the games focus maybe it'll convince me. Trade always sucked in eu4 I feel like
