      The price to swap tires is less than the price to fill up on gas. That is barely an expense considering it's just twice a year.

      That's what I mean that it's only an expense if you can't actually afford a car and are just forced to buy one even though you don't have the money because of lack of public transportation.

          They can't afford to operate it if they can't afford basic maintenance items like tires. It's antagonistic only in the context of liberals saying "well just ride the bus" when there is no bus.
