      Because the UK only has a labour party and a tory party all the rich and powerful bougie women back the Tory party, this results in it being completely impossible to say or hold these kinds of absolutely absurd things. You'll piss off the Baronesses and then you'll get raked over the coals by the media.

      The conditions are different in the US because the bougie women have always had the liberals as an option instead. This makes rampant sexism as part of the culture war a viable option and creates a significant difference between our two political spheres.
