He ran for governor a few years ago but lost; he’s the current Lt. Governor and basically refused the house that comes with that role. He’s got a good shot at winning too; he’s gotten a little bit more Lib in rhetoric recently but I think he’s just playing the game. This isn’t saying much but he’d be a top 2-3 lefty senator if he win

Unfortunately, he's against Connor Lamb. As soon as Lamb ran, I knew that the PA Democratic Party was trying to ratfuck him like they did Bernie...

At the very least as it stands now Fetterman has a giant polling and fundraising lead. Lamb will be a tough out but it won’t be easy to ratfuck.

Well they're honestly not really. Fetterman has lived in Pennsylvania for a long time, been Lt Gov etc. Dr Oz lives in NJ and has just been voting from his in-laws address in Penn for the last couple years.

Guy was convicted of pretending to be an Uber driver and pulling a knife on a woman to try to kidnap her

This whole thing just gets worse and worse

the guy still left his kid behind to chase down a clearly unarmed stranger and hold him at gunpoint, if I did that I'd have caught an assault charge. And if I lived in a town that had a mayor that had held me at gunpoint and cops that had covered for him, I'd probably think twice about being completely candid about how much I support him. I'm not saying fetterman is a villain but he certainly doesn't seem like he needs uncritical support. Unlike our boy connor.

Seems different though, like he heard a bunch of gunshots and panicked and did stupid shit. The Arbery murderers didn't have any actual reason to believe anything was going on. The article also said it was right after Sandy Hook and he was out in the yard with his 4 year old when he heard the shots, and some people get really stupid

Not gonna register as a Democrat to vote for him in the primary, but I'd vote for him if he runs in the general

Odds of him falling in line with the party whips the moment he gets the seat?

I mean this guy isn't gonna be the vanguard of the revolution. He's a Berniecrat who will do Berniecrat things. If he wins he can cancel out Joe Manchin's vote.

Like most elections, it's pretty low risk low reward. He's asking for a half hour of your time voting for him. He'll probably get you a couple amendments for a bill and if they get to 51 senators he'll cancel out Manchin's vote. Which isn't much, but it's worth the half hour.

Nah it just means that some other turd will start Manchin-ing too
