Veganism isn't really that big of a debate on here. People are either vegan or not vegan. As long as people aren't being disrespectful assholes in areas where they shouldn't (someone posting recipes on /c/food with a meat CW, /c/vegan, ect.) I really don't see much fighting over it.
Should have started the WFPB discourse instead, people over here get really heated over cooking oils. Going anti-cooking oil would be a hilarious piece of bait
Eh that's not a vegan thing (although I do notice most vegan recipes use canola oil instead of actually caring about the oil's flavor) it's whole food plant based that don't use any oils.

Vegans not knowing oils kinda blows my mind. Strategic use of oils and spices can make just about any vegetable shine.
