This stuff reminds me of the r/HermanCainAward posts, I don't think it's your intent but it just smacks of smug liberal moralism ignorant of the underlying material conditions that have produced this phenomenon.

It's tricky. They're victims, but they're also perpetrators. A lot of right-wingers have fallen for propaganda and are acting contrary to their own interests, but that doesn't give them a free pass when they do harm, which these people most certainly are.

A lady made me call the cops on her over mask rules the other day, I haven't talked to a cop in like 10 years. This shit sucks dude.

Imagine how bad you've fucked up that an anarchist has to call the cops on you. Then she argued with the cop for like 20 minutes!

It was the most stunning display of white privilege I have ever seen. She had literally already tried to assault me on camera.

If you avoid the comments and stick only to the screenshots in the posts, the smugness can be pushed aside. What you get is an overview of radicalization that almost endlessly repeats itself. Most of the awardees share the same memes and post the same statuses, then they’re gone.

I see it as a warning to all of us who may have loved ones espousing these views.
