There were Mongolian khanates all the way out to the Black Sea like a thousand years ago, and the Turkish groups were sort of related and expanding/driven West. They settled in modern Turkey over a pretty long time period. There's probably a surprising amount of Mongolian genetics in South Eastern Europe. Not that it matters. Genocide is still not allowed no matter what the genetic tests say.
