Edit: hearing about how close to capacity NHS England already is is pretty horrific, ngl. Especially when a million cases a day is being seriously mentioned. There’s going to be a lot of death, even if Omicron turns out to be milder (which is unclear, as there’s conflicting evidence between Denmark and South Africa right now).
