I'm prepared to be laughed at for how unrealistic it seems but i think another lockdown is coming. They're just waiting til after the holidays because "cancelling Christmas" would be politically impossible and there's too much profit to be lost by messing with the holiday.

Here's the thing: omicron is less dangerous, right? But it is also far more infectious, and can bypass the vaccines. Doesn't this mean just as many, if not more people will end up hospitalised at any one time? Or be asked to isolate? Things are going to get very interesting very quickly
