I'd prefer it if doctors referred to their patients that way. I'm paying for those visits, so don't be "patienting" me, I pay for your service so I am a customer. Patients are the people you saw when you still cared about the Hippocratic oath, before you started doing harm to my mental wellbeing by charging ridiculous money to see you.
