I recommend a compression blanket and then a heated blanket for some extra coziness. It's like a warm cocoon. I've noticed heat makes my dreams more vivid too.

Compression blanket is like a squeeze. A hug almost. Like being swaddled. And it's largely an evenly distributed feeling around the body vs weighted blanket pressing down from above. I like weighted blankets too, but they're way more expensive. I got my compression blanket off AliExpress for like 30 bucks.

Not during the day, but before I got to bed, as I sleep, and while I'm waking up, yes. I imagine I wouldn't mind having it all day if I actually had a good sound set up for it. Just hearing it on a phone speaker or some stereo computer speakers doesn't really sell me on it or give me that wrap-around sonic comfort real rain on the roof does.
