Too many people died in our tiny ER this week. ICU patients admitted to med/surg because it's the best we can do. Patients we've tried to keep out of ICU for two weeks dying anyway. This is like nothing I've ever seen.

Billing/medical coding is a thing, but 9/10 if you hear of someone "coding" in a US hospital, they mean someone has gone into cardiac arrest.
