    Having read through the article, Jesus Christ, word fail to describe just how bad the effect are. The fact that treatment is so hard to get for victims only makes it worse. I'd like to stand out this part of the article:

    “One of the myths is that the perpetrators identify as gay, which is by and large not the case,” says James Asbrand, a psychologist with the Salt Lake City VA's PTSD clinical team. “It's not about the sex. It's about power and control.”

    The majority of rapists are not homosexual, because it's not about sex, it's not about pleasure, it's about power.

    But anyways, goes to show you how well the military treats people, even the privates that signed up to fight for it. The archived link to the article in case anyone is interested.
