“He’s a great interviewer.” Why? “He lets people speak.”

I seriously don’t get the whole Rogan at all. Just seems to me a typical, run of the mill, pot-smoking, “let the free market decide,” white privileged libertarian.

Which makes, for me, some of most loathsome qualities to have.

Yeah, maybe, he’s been enlightened out of his self-interest and faux occasional concern for capitalist oppression by the likes of Bernie, Cornel West, Russell Brand (who lately appears to have gone of the rails, chasing Rogan-like numbers by offering mostly clickbait, suddenly slightly RW-leaning red meat), etc.

But still at his core to me he’s a kind of pea-brained, macho man who says what people want to hear. In the little I’ve heard him I’ve never detected he’s got any core understanding of how capitalism is driving all iniquity.
