    :maybe-later-kiddo: types have ruined the idea of yoga for me. I don't doubt it has some benefits but it's been so thoroughly saturated in corporate bullshit that it's just about impossible to wash all the ideology out.

      I like it as a strengthening stretch for small muscles before/after hiking and for core strength. I'd never go to a yoga thing because it's probably either a hippie cult or whitepeople2.png.

        I can totally see that and I even took a yoga course in college and remembered some basic but helpful postures. I just find it grating that almost every :corporate-art: techbro hellworld piece of propaganda crams images of people doing yoga anywhere they can, and yoga is seen as some obligatory thing.
