From the questions section: "Are you concerned about climate change?" "No"

They live right next to an area that had the most expensive wildfire in state history between two large cities in late December. Where the water wars are a five year threat.

my consumer choices are my entire identity and i will literally fetishise everything i buy in the hopes that it teaches me how to make my surgeon father mad. you can't call me a bad person because look how atomistically less destructive this consumer choice of mine was. did some sorta Asian person do something probably? that thing is now my god or whatever. did i read somewhere that putting plants in my butt makes my energy vibrate louder? plants are literally all cartoon forest spirits i can talk to and should replace science with.

    vegan(ish)

I mostly eat vegetables, but I also eat some meat. Is there a word for that?

Okay, so this may be confirmation bias, but every person I've seen whose said they're into "foraging" is turbo lib who thinks their consumer choices make them radical.

And then there's me, who lives in one of the wettest coolest most water secure states in the US, thinking about how to maximize water distribution in Asia and the Middle East

      Political beliefs: Other.

Not left/liberal. The only right-wing signal in her questions is "Are you pro-choice? No", but religion is listed as Buddhist so she isn't an evangelical. I don't even know what kind of anarchy it means beyond drawing the :anarchy: symbol like it's a libertarian rune.

:maybe-later-kiddo: types have ruined the idea of yoga for me. I don't doubt it has some benefits but it's been so thoroughly saturated in corporate bullshit that it's just about impossible to wash all the ideology out.

I like it as a strengthening stretch for small muscles before/after hiking and for core strength. I'd never go to a yoga thing because it's probably either a hippie cult or whitepeople2.png.

I can totally see that and I even took a yoga course in college and remembered some basic but helpful postures. I just find it grating that almost every :corporate-art: techbro hellworld piece of propaganda crams images of people doing yoga anywhere they can, and yoga is seen as some obligatory thing.

All white people have to do yoga 5 times a day in the direction of Portland.

this is the exact kind of person that makes everything so frustrating. I can't trust someone who says they're anarchist cause they might just be a lib who doesn't want to send their kid to school. I can't trust anyone who says they're a witch because they might be a clown praying for queen Elizabeth to live longer. I can't trust vegans because a bunch are more concerned with appearing concerned about animals than the migrant laborers who harvest their food. Anyone here is usually good, but in fleshspace it's a crapshoot.
