These people have an elementary school-understanding of the Holocaust and the Civil Rights movement. The second they are mildly inconvenienced, their brains instantly draw connections to Jewish people being put on trains and black people being forced out of establishments. The fact that they think having a vaccination card to sit down at Olive Garden is the same as being forced to live in a Jewish ghetto is so offensive it's hilarious.
My chud FIL told me yesterday, “[town] that’s where the nazis are, they have the strictest vaccine mandates.” & yes, he is an emotional child who would rather go to a diner than therapy.
