Basically, I'm bored and curious and I'm looking for leftist/anti-imperialist media (any format) that kinda-sorta feels illegal, if that makes sense. Things that you watch/read/play and wonder how it hasn't been nuked by the feds yet. Things that not-so-subtly depict some kind of popular uprising in a way that's just realistic enough to make you feel like you know too much. Things that restore your hope for a revolution but also kinda make you paranoid that you're on a watchlist now. Things that teach you tactics and opsec, intentionally or not. Even if "they" are the bad guys, it still counts.

parody satire minecraft etc, but the main reason i want these recs is because im trying to write something like that myself. There are no wrong answers, so feel free to suggest anything you think matches that description

For reference, the movie that inspired me to write this was The Spook Who Sat by the Door. I definitely recommend it, because it captures that "am i on a list now" feeling perfectly (especially if you look into how the CIA reacted to it irl)
