        One way to describe it is that the teacher shortage is due to providing dangerous and impossible conditions for terrible pay. Bringing in the National Guard is a way to avoid remedying either issue. So a labor issue is being fought against workers by its employer (state gov't) by bringing in a literal reserve army of labor!

          I teach, got covid and so did 1/3 of my kids (so far!) and all for less than almost all my friends make
