        they don't have to make any deals. the incentives for "news" media for a long time have been such that they drool when corporations ring the bell. public relations is so refined a discipline that everyone involved plays their role without a second thought.

              Is that not the same case that the current Supreme Court already ruled on, saying it was okay to use slave labor as long as it's happening in another country?

                The case is being brought under the Trafficking Victims Protection Reauthorization Act of 2017. IRA is currently involved in a separate complaint filed under the Alien Tort Statute against Nestlé and Cargill.

                The Supreme Court one is the Alien Tort Statute case, which doesn't seem to involve Mars. Not that it makes a difference, really. Here's some coverage of that decision.
