McGinnis told lawyers for both health systems they should try to work out a temporary agreement by the end of the day Friday about the employees' status until Monday's hearing.

Otherwise, he said, the order prohibiting them from going to work at Ascension would be final until a further ruling was made. That means the seven health care workers would not be working at either hospital on Monday.

hahahahahhaha you literally can't leave your job for a new one they will sic the courts on you hahahaahahhahh

In Gommunist China, you can't quit your job unless your employer says so.

Has anyone seen the actual court order about this? Because this smells like bullshit. If the order was a TRO (temporary restraining order) then it's not "final," it lasts a maximum of ten days.

If it was a full injunction, then this hospital's entire fucking staff should just walk out and tell this judge to go fuck himself.

This judge was sanctioned previously for accepting payments from local LEOs for providing "training", it's a safe bet he has also provided "training" to the hospital as well

I have to, I have to believe that shit like this really is actually radicalizing people and not just grinding them down and prepping them to accept neo-serfdom.

A judge granted the restraining order but Ascension (the hospital that hired all the people involved) legal team told everyone that there is no way to enforce it and just to report to work on Monday.
