Feeling much better. Inventory of my house turned up an abandoned bag that isn’t mine. Got my iPad and wallet back…and some paperwork with a name and address on it.
Just got off the phone with the crime scene people. They want that paperwork
Oh, they do. I had these random creepy women keep coming back knocking at all hours. One of them then got arrested on the block with an elderly neighbours set of keys on her.
That was a few years ago and I'd forgotten about it but note to self.
Thank goodness that woman was dumb enough to stop, drop and run and you don't need to replace your cards. Best possible result after everything. I agree that unfortunately it sounds like you'll have to lock your door behind you any time you pop out now though.

Something that’s been on mind is how quickly it happened as well.
She must have been camping and casing the place for everything to have happened like you described.
