Alright, one of two outcomes: either the world is very imminently ending, like in the next three days; or in a week the LNG will be flowing again at higher pressure and the Dems will be in full "maybe later kiddo" mode in regards to curtailing our addiction to fossil fuel while charbroiling everyone from the millennials onward.

    My money's on the latter.

I think this is purely a function of domestic energy demand. This isn't Biden v Texas, it's Texas Exporters v California Server Farmers.

Biden is trying to keep the gas at home because it makes electricity cheap. If we send it abroad, that means big energy consumers will have to pay escalating rates in an increasingly energy hungry industry.

Step 1. Blow up Nordstream II so Europe has to rely on US LNG exports
Step 2. Put a stop to LNG exports
    Step 3. ????

(But seriously does anyone know what the endgame is here because I sure as heck don't)

Holy shit I didn't think of this angle.

I figured he was just looking to boost the US supply to drive down domestic prices, but if this is actually retaliation I am 100% here for it.
