I'm kind of in the same boat. I also have one of the kief catcher ones but it always gets clogged up and I can't unclog it, tried doing stuff like putting it in the fridge and hitting it on something, using a toothbrush etc, know other people who have similar ones and they work fine :shrug-outta-hecks:

Obviously it's not a huge deal and I like it for the fact that it's branded with one of my favourite Amsterdam coffeeshops, but I'd still appreciate some kief every so often.

Sorry, this was more me ranting about grinder woes rather than making a recommendation but at least you're not alone in the screen clogging up lmao.

I tried isopropyl once and it cleared it for a while but also seemed to get rid of some of the paint which made me a bit nervous, might give it another go though! Perhaps I'll try everclear as that's technically suitable for human consumption so might not interfere with the finish? Dunno if that's logical, haha.

Hmm... To be honest it may not have chipped the paint, it kinda looks like some of the finish on the outside has come off but that might just be general wear and tear (it does see a fair amount of use) and I'm panicking for no reason. Much like you mentioned in the post I'm generally super worried about accidentally smoking paint chips so I could be being over cautious, I've certainly never seen anything in with my ground up weed. Appreciate the advice, I'll give some thought to all my options I guess, hope you manage to find a good replacement grinder!
