Anyone else notice X had a very sharp nose dive a few days ago? I recently logged onto an account I don't really use but had to comment on Lib and Fash posts occasionally. And ~3 days ago I gained a follower every hour (about 20 before this) and bots are liking every post and comment I ever made. The bots really took over a few days ago.

Incredible that melon-musk managed to both kill off legitimate users who didn't want to be spied on, and cause an explosion of bot accounts, the very thing he's been complaining about the whole time. ik ik he doesn't care about the absurdity or hypocrisy but it is pretty funny

Need to bring back truetwit (anyone else remember truetwit lmao?)

I honestly think Musk might have expected it to crash and burn by now and might be frustrated that it hasn't. The debt for purchasing it goes away if the company declares bankruptcy, and he probably wants to write off the purchase of X dot com and a bunch of other shit but can't do it as long as Twitter is solvent.

Honetly, the bots are probably one of the few reasons that platform is still around. Keeping the corpse of twitter shuffling around this mortal coil.

It's amazing that they won't even ban different bot accounts posting the same spam message over and over again, which should be the easiest thing to detect.

Elon definitely fired most of the support staff.

Wasn't he complaining about bots on twitter before he bought it?

I've noticed the same thing. Random accounts have started following me in the past few days. They all have profile photos of attractive women and no discernible interests or other characteristics. It really contrasts with my audience up until now which was full of gay furries and noided communists.

I've been getting those for months and I've just been blocking them immediately. Half my block list is corporations, the other half are made up names and stolen e-girl pictures.
