I didn't get the brain zaps, but it was about a month of insomnia and anxiety on top of opiate WDs. So, yeah, totally fucking great. Luckily I was only on the stuff for 6-8 months, but my usage got so intense I'd need to wake up ever 3 hours at night to shovel tia down my throat. At least with Phenibut I can sleep through most of the night.

ugggh. the ultra-short duration was definitely a turn off. i've always hated stuff with short half-life. i got hooked on loperamide (yes, it's possible!) to fight heroin/morphine w/ds because it has a 24 hr duration... it sucked as an opioid but long half life make such easier tapers!

I had half a mind to try an immodium high, but never took enough. Although I do take like 6 at a time some days since the phenibut use has wrecked my gut.

it doesn't seem to cross bbb for everyone. i took 48 tablets first time when in w/d and it killed the w/d and gave a buzz. feels like a sleepier methadone buzz, with a touch of morphine. problem is it's a pretty strong calcium ion channel blocker too so it can slow your heart rate down dangerously.

yeah. ironically the ca+ blocking and the strong opioid effect combined makes a great pain reducer lol.

Yeah, I heard that immodium actually is close to morphine molecularly, just doesnt cross the BBB so you get the opiate constipation effect without the high.

Anyways, if you ever wanna talk drugs, inbox is always open! I'm starting my phenibut taper proper over the weekend, scale is coming in the mail, so I'm sure we'll have a lot to talk about soon.
