Where I live there is a huge business (thousands) that are all v blue collar workers. There was this big rumor that new employees were furries and demanding a litter box be put in the bathroom. People I know who work there swear its true but I just don't buy it lol

If there were a bunch of furries around that were this hardcore you'd think there would be no room for rumours- you'd expect to see them wearing neon coloured wolf fursuits 24/7, including at work.
This seems like an usual case of a right-wing game of broken telephone where offline boomers interpret the concept of furries through their warped lens of trans people and gender self-identification, with the same fixation on what people are doing in bathrooms
Like this version of being a furry isn't about dressing up in fursuits, creating elaborate fursonas or cranking it to expensive commisioned pornographic art featuring Sonic the Hedgehog but just... acting like a cat in public???
