i remember like 2 decades ago or more it was already a joke that like 40% of all programming on The History Channel was something like, "Were the Nazis Actually Superhuman Geniuses from Another Planet?" and it would be 45 minutes of cloying innuendo about how they were more technologically and biologically advanced than their contemporaries could even fathom before paying like 30 seconds of vague lip service to how the holocaust was bad.
can't even imagine how bullshit it has become today, since it's pivot to "unscripted" garbage.
just looked it up... history channel is owned 50% by Hearst Media and 50% by Disney. hilarious.
