It seems no matter which deoderant I pick, it immediately ceases to be sold. I haven't found my brand in weeks now.
Congratulations! You are what marketers refer to as a "harbinger customer", and any new product you like is probably doomed. I'm in the same boat. Use this power wisely. https://archive.ph/iKK4m
Every fucking time.
Worst example for me are these little stick-less ice cream thingies
ShowShowI loved them as a kid (hate the feeling of biting wooden sticks), and then they suddenly vanished. Now I've finally found them again, but they're prohibitively expensive.
Do you have any eastern European grocers near you? They should sell frozen cheesecake bars that might scratch that itch, looks like these though you might have to settle for lithuanian ones if you're in a country that sanctions Russia
ShowI'm in South America, so it's pretty hard to find anything European here.
These ice cream cubes are produced nationally, so I suppose it's just a resource allocation problem. The box one seem pretty great for the environment btw, the only trash they generate is a small cardboard box.
Isn't a Klondike® Bar just an older Statesian version of a Eskibon? \s
But yeah, they're the same thing. The parent company for both is Unilever, so they could even have some kind of patent/trademark sharing thing going on.
I've never had the stickless kind, but I'm kinda with you I hate the wooden stick. I don't like biting into it. I don't like licking it. It makes it so I get melted ice cream all over my fingers because it slowly drips down the stick. Down with sticks.
I HATE THE WOODEN STICKS TOO!!!!!
omg
just really excited to have in common this random thing I've never expressed
fucking hate cronching on a stick, it is like a deep personal betrayal in my mouth, ugh
Yeah. I wish I had the large house of a mormom suburbanite so I can just bulk buy this shit in a little warehouse section and at least not have to worry about running out for a couple years of stuff like this. Soda and deodorant are the worst for limited edition versions.
I live in constant terror of this
It's especially rough on me because I can only use certain deodorants because most of them give me chemical burns
So far only happened with V8 vegetable juice. Just up and vanished and I don't even know why, I can't find anything anywhere about it like I just dreamt the product up.
Unusual fusion pull, love it. Of course it's laborious but don't be afraid of making egg rolls yourself. Decadent shit.
oh god all the time I hate it
I'm not even picky about most things, but not being able to just get something I like and stick with it makes me feel all
Not really, but I have found products that's I've found once and then never again. Like this chocolate bar that was nothing but milk chocolate and whole peanuts. You'd think that combo wouldn't be hard to find but it is! And no, I'm not talking about Mr Goodbar or whatever that shitty waxy american "chocolate" bar is called
Why did they stop selling blueberry mini wheat's? Fruity bites and bix just aren't the same :(
i get this real bad with mecha models, if you like anything but Transformers figures or Gundam Brand Gundam model kits you have to scour the internet for deals or pre-orders or used-but-not-assembled kits, everything is limited production small batch stuff or old enough that the IP is just no longer profitable or recognizable. I bought a model kit of a RK-91/92 Savage mecha from the show Full Metal Panic (kinda shite show from the 3 or so episodes i checked out but really cool diesel powered cold war soviet badguy mecha designs), at the time i bought it they were like 40 or 50 each, now its closer to 70 to 90 because the kits are so rare and the show wasn't that popular.
Almost any otaku-y thing in Japan runs on the limited edition, limited run, fomo model and has for many years. Truly they were the first country to arrive at late stage capitalist stagnation.
Hershey's chocolate milk powder
Tropical flavor Chex mix
Eagle brand chips
Vault and/or Surge
edit: the original, crunchy Spree candy
There's a certain brand of cinnamon chewing gum they stopped selling where I live. Now the only ones around (and they're just online) are those little squarey ones, not the better, flat rectangle types
