I love Existential Comics because they say so much about what's really happening with philosophy in a format I can actually engage with.

It's so true! I've struggled through a lot of convoluted bullshit just to come to the conclusion that some sci fi movie or kids cartoon managed to convey the main thrust to me in a 22 minute toy commercial when i was twelve!
took an ethics class at a fancy college. We spent 20 minutes of one class shitting on hobbes and then never talked about him again. Fellow shitty person aristotle actually had some decent philosophy. So he's actually taken seriously. Hobbes is just a footnote now. Unless you are upper class conservative and need to sound like someone who understands philosophy.
