Quaoar (50000 Quaoar), is a dwarf planet in the Kuiper belt, a region of icy planetesimals beyond Neptune. A non-resonant object (cubewano), it measures approximately 1,121 km (697 mi) in diameter, about half the diameter of Pluto. The object was discovered by American astronomers Chad Trujillo and Michael Brown at the Palomar Observatory on 4 June 2002. Signs of water ice on the surface of Quaoar have been found, which suggests that cryovolcanism may be occurring on Quaoar. A small amount of methane is present on its surface, which can only be retained by the largest Kuiper belt objects.

In February 2007, Weywot, a synchronous moon in orbit around Quaoar, was discovered by Brown. Weywot is measured to be 170 km (110 mi) across. Both objects were named after mythological figures from the Native American Tongva people in Southern California. Quaoar is the Tongva creator deity and Weywot is his son.

        I can't speak for everyone but as for me,, ima keep it real with you fam, I hate notifications

        They give me anxiety. I like to make art and that's it. I don't want to develop parasocial relationships, I don't want to market it, I don't want to talk about myself or do any of this other shit. It makes me feel awful.

        And even outside of that I'm just a pretty private person, I don't like going out, I don't like people having access to me 24/7, I barely use social media. At least with dms on IG, reddit, or here I can let stuff sit for awhile, but discord seems more immediate and chatroom-y and I'm just not about that stuff. It genuinely stresses me out and makes me feel overwhelmed.

            Probably, I just feel like there’s this expectation to the fans on it that I answer them immediately or something. That’s just how discord comes off to me but maybe it’s not that serious.

            Idk I only have so much to give with that stuff and my normal work at the studio takes up most of it already haha

          That makes sense. I don't really use discord. I have one and only use it for one random thing, but I cut the notifications off immediately they were incredibly annoying.
