Of everything in the Rockies, only grizzly bears scare me more than moose. It's extremely large, powerful, unpredictable, aggressive, and can run or swim faster than any human. I've accidentally crested a hill and been almost as close as they are, and that was existentially terrifying.

      I have only ever seen them in pictures and videos, and I am properly terrified of these fuckers. They will absolutely wreck me, and I know it.

      Deer I will cuss and scream at to gtfo my garden, I will stride right out and punch them in the face if they'll hold still long enough, but a moose would make me leave, he can have the garden and maybe the house too.
